Hi everybody,

for those who haven’t listened to our previous materials, please listen one more time to the first three videos from the last time. We are going to speak, using adjectives and present simple.

As far as writing is concerned, do the grammar exercises from the handout. In all the exercises you should write correct forms of the verbs in Present Simple. Remember about the 3rd person singular (he/she/it) and -s/-es added to the verb. Bring the handout on our next meeting.

Michał is preparing the presentation on flying, Marysia should bring the writing exercise from the last time.

(Proszę, by te osoby, które nie słuchały materiałów przed naszym ostatnim spotkaniem, posłuchały jeszcze raz trzech pierwszych video. Będziemy mówić, używając m.in. przymiotników i czasu teraźniejszego prostego.

Zróbcie również ćwiczenia gramatyczne z ksero. We wszystkich ćwiczeniach należy zastosować poprawną formę czasownika w czasie teraźniejszym. Pamiętajcie o -s/-es w 3 osobie liczby pojedynczej (on/ona/ono). Przynieście ćwiczenia na najbliższą lekcję.)

The first three materials are mainly for repeating and learning the vocabulary and grammar, while the next two are for watching and listening. Have fun!

(Pierwsze trzy materiały związane są przede wszystkim z powtarzaniem słownictwa i gramatyki, natomiast dwa kolejne obejrzyjcie i dokładnie posłuchajcie.)

Remember about your homework –

a) completing the table on The Planets hand-out – with adjectives e.g. small, smaller, the smallest etc. (wypełnijcie tabelę przymiotnikami, stopniując je)

b) preparing a description about a person from the country you chose, e.g. from Russia or Brazil. Consider the following questions – What’s the name of the person/How old is she/he?/What country is she/he from?/ Say some interesting facts about the country she/he comes from – geography/culture/history/language etc. (przygotujcie opis postaci z kraju przez was wylosowanego – weźcie pod uwagę odpowiedzi na podane pytania – imię/wiek, kraj pochodzenia/narodowość tej postaci oraz ciekawe fakty o kraju – geograficzne/kulturowe/historyczne itd.)
